Upgrade Window 98 1st edition to windows XP home addition

The upgrade advisor is telling me win 98 can't be upgraded
to XP Home edition. Can I go ahead with the install or
not??? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

It should not tell you that. You might want to consider posting in a
Windows XP newsgroup with the results of the Upgrade Advisor test.
