Does Windows98 have the ability to perform a repair install? I am experiencing the problem with the loss of desktop icons and start menu and can't seem to find any solution. I have a lot of info on the computer that I don't really want to lose. Is it possible to reinstall the OS while leaving everything else intact? These repairs should not affect your data files. 2. / Run / MSINFO32.EXE / Tools Repair option. 3.
