My OS is Win98. When I Ctrl+Alt+Del the program box pops up
and it shows that certain programs are "not responding".
These programs are : Winservn and Msbb. I also receive a
message quite frequently asking me if I want to continue
using scripts. I recently purchased Norton Antivirus 2004
but I cannot get it to start the installation process. Any
help would be appreciated. kharrington@premiermfg.com or

These are both spyware components.
Download Spybot Search & Destroy
(http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10122137.html) or
AdAware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware).
Both are very good FREE programs.
You must run the update each time you search for spyware,
so it can recognize new programs.

try the first two links to remove the crashes, and the third is probably a
better choice than norton AV,, If you scroll thru these newsgroups you will
find an endless stream of Norton stuffups, far more than any other av, If you
must use be aware that there are issues with Norton since Peter sold out to
Symantec
