We reinstalled windows 98 on our computer.  Now, when you
bring the computer back up, it gives us one of the
following blue screen error page.  OE 0028c144445b vxd
or 0028c 0005338invxdvmm01+00004338 or 0028c 183858bi
vxd.  You hit any key to teminate the current
application, it automatically shuts the computer down and
reboots.  Only to have one of the three blue screens pop
up within minutes of starting back up.  Windows can't
even begin to load for us to be able to fix any registry
entries like the webpage suggests.

I also noticed on one of the shut downs, that the
computer sent up a different error that said rundll.32
did an illegal action and will now be terminated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was it an over-install, or did you wipe & fresh install? Either way, it
might be best to just try it again.

This has a link to a large list of Fatal (& other) errors.

OK, I've done it, all 23. Often you have articles there no longer at the
MSKB, that I can find. Also, your site certainly is easier/quicker to
use, although it may be the MSKB has gotten a tad quicker than it once
was. I can remember-- incredibly-- delays getting an article from MSKB,
EVEN working off-line out of my TIFs! What was that about!?!, but it has
gone away. OK, thanks; it is done:
