Windows 98 HIPAA compliant?

Does anyone know if Windows 98 SE is HIPAA compliant?  I
am assumming that all patches and updates have been
applied...

98 has no security to speak of.  I have not read the white paper on HIPPA
but all of our clients are moving to 2K or XP with NTFS

No operating system is "HIPAA compliant", since an operating system by
itself has nothing to do with the HIPAA standards.  Your applications,
servers and network security will determine if you're HIPAA compliant or
not.
