When the computer is turned on all it does is go to the
first screen and detect the primary hard drive and halts
there.

Can you boot from your floppy drive with a DOS startup floppy?

Whenever I connect the hard drive it will not boot past
it. I have tried a new hd. Currently, I am running a
memory test. There were errors on the first run. I
removed two mem modules and ran a second. I just checked
on it and the screen was black. I started it again. I am
thinking the motherboard is bad. What do you think?
