How many people in this newsgroup have received the security cd and
did it work well for you?  I received my security cd and the only
complaint I had about the cd was that it switched my custom cookie
handling which blocked third party cookies to automatic cookie
handling.  However, this setting was easy to change back.

I received the CD and it worked fine for me (98se) Would
be nice if MS continue to do these CDs - I only have dial
up connection - it costs enough in phone bils to keep
Norton up to date.

Ordered in February, arrived early April, the Win98
disk (of two) cracked and unusable.  A replacement
disk arrived within 7 oor 10 days, instals OK.
MS sends out these disks by Purolator which
attempts to deliver to your home address but
will not leave the package if no one is home.

I ordered my CD in early March it arrived 2 weeks later
(Australia) and because no one was home it was left in the
mailbox.  No problems installing it or after.  Changed my
Win98SE version from 4.10.2222A to 4.10.2222B and that's
about it.

In the United States, it is delivered by the Post Office and comes
with your regular mail.

Not all of them.  Probably only a small %age of the global total.

The refusal to leave unattended is a Purolator policy.
Nothing to do with MS.  Mine came USPS.  Left in mailbox.

Purolator is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
They obviously handled some (or all) of the Canadian deliveries.

Ordered:  2/18/04.
Shipped:  3/16/04
Arrived:  4/13/04
Installed: ??/??/??

Mine was in the mailbox, sleekly packaged in green and pink. Likely, the
ones scratched & cracked were done before PA Bear thought to trim his
claws!

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
