I need to edit the autoexec.bat and config.sys files
on a couple of computers that are networked together.
However, when I open sysedit, the autoexec.bat and
config.sys files are empty.  I tried to look at the
autoexec.bak and it, too, was empty.
I tried to go into MS-DOS and edit the files there,
but again, both files are empty.  There are no lines
of text in either file, just blank space.
Is there another way that I can change some of the
settings in config.sys???????
Thanks,
Jack W

Both files are blank by default and only contain entries if some program has
made entries in them.  Apparently no program has made entries so edit away
by adding whatever it is you want to add.
