Well this one is doing my head in.
Trying to set up xp on my slave drive with win 98 on the master.
Boot the xp install disk from the dvd drive. Occasionally it drops out at
this point but otherwise goes to a windows setup screen and then stops with
the following error message:
\i386\Ntkrnlmp.exe Could Not Be Loaded. The Error Code Is 7
Microsoft say it could be faulty ram or the BIOS needs to be reset to
default. Changed both and it still does the same thing.
Real shot in the dark but can anyone thing of any reason why a p3, 440bx
chipset with 256 mb would not install xp?
Cheers
Gavin

Try booting with a Windows 98 boot diskette and run winnt.exe from the
i386 folder.
