Is there any way to have a password protected start up? I don't want windows
to even start up without a password. Any ino would be greatly appreciated,

Windows PCs and the Win98 OS were not designed
to offer major PW protection. Your best bet may be
a BIOS PW (before Windows loads). Interrupt the
reboot process (probably via DEL key) and locate
the BIOS menu item to add this feature.

Note that the procedure for accessing BIOS and setting the password varies
among different machines.

For a stronger Windows protection, (not the BIOS) try MVP Doug Knox's
"Secure Your Computer" free utility which is still currently available at
