At bootup I got a message saying the VMM32.VXD file was missing or corrupt.
I've re-installed windows and are back to normal. I'd like to know what could
have clobbered this file. Thanks
Same things that can clobber any file in Windows. One thing I always do when
any file corruption appears is to run a full scandisk. Don't repair
anything, but note any errors and investigate them (fixing errors on a disk
that's starting to go bad will only make things worse.)
