Put your subject line in the Google search bar.
There are hundreds of keys all over the place.

I actually just went through this today, trying to find the product key on my
moms computer......this worked for me:

start your computer in command prompt only by hitting the F8 key when your
computer is starting up or the ALT key

Choose command prompt only

then type in
C:\windows\command\Find /i "ProductKey" C:\windows\system.dat

there is a space between Find and / and again between "i" and Product, and
again after Key".

Many people do not even know what a command line is. The
software product keys or serial numbers etc. on a computer can
be found via a variety of ways, but for people who can't deal
with command lines, using a registry editor/viewer, or using
general file viewers, Googling for a number is the easiest. I
could have given him MY number and saved him the Googling, I
suppose.

Don't top post.
