We are running ISA server and RRAS and within the last month we have had
problems getting the vpn connections to remain stabilised for a period of
time. It was only lasting for 10-15mins but now we are able to get up to
around 2hrs before the connection is dropped.
Is there any windows updates that may have triggered a connection limit or
something similar?

The connection is working as intended while it is up

Any help would be good since information on the issue seems to be mixed
without any answers

Please post your question in "microsoft.public.isa.vpn"  or in the VPN Forum
for your particular version of ISA at www.isaserver.org.

Note:

Remote Access VPN as expected to drop,...they are not supposed to stay up
all the time
Site-to-Site VPNs be default do not drop and are expected to be persistant.
If you configured the wrong type of VPN or are trying to misuse a Remote
Access VPN then you can expect this.
