Hi all ! Happy new year!

I have an Intel Celeron 2Ghz Desktop with 256 MB RAM,
directX 9c, Win ME and an LG CDRW drive (52x max). I tried
installing two games: the Age of Mythology and EA Cricket.
Installation went fine. But while I am trying to play the
games, apparently the CD drive is unable to read the game
CD. It always gives the message "Please insert the correct
CD ROM".

Someone please help....All my money spent on the Games are
going futile !!

Thanks in advance

Have you tried cleaning the drive with a standard audio CD player cleaning
disc?  If so then the drive is likely faulty and needs to be replaced.

>You should change your cdroom drive to a faster Cdroom
drive, (I recommend 52x or faster, with combo
DVD,CDWRITER).
