How do I compress a hard drive on a Dell Deminsion 4100 desktop using Windoes ME You don't. You get a larger hard drive or clean some files off your existing hard drive. Drive compression has always been a bad idea and I'm glad that WinMe dropped support for it.  SignatureRichard G.
