Cannot write to disk; remove write protection and retry

No matter how many floppy disks I insert and/or how many
times I move the tab on the disk, I am unable to copy any
information onto it. Help!

Sounds as if the floppy drive has failed and needs to be replaced.

check if floppy disk write protection is enabled in your BIOS..

You may want to test a CD-R as no one uses the A:\ Floppy Drive anymore
because the media is magnetic not as the more reliable CDs
