How to transfer data from old one to new one??
Thanks

There are at least 4 or more methods to copy files / folders;

1. Backup to your CD-R   (good idea)
2. Backup to your A:\ Floppy Disk  (bad idea - magnetic media)
3. Use a USB Cable between the 2 PCs similar to PC-Lindq
4. Use a Parallel Cable between the 2 PCs
5. Connect the old HD as a Slave to the new HD which will
me the Master and use Windows Explorer to copy across.
------------------------------------
The USB cable is your fast solution to peer-to-peer file transfer between
two computers via the USB port. It provides true plug-n-play capability
while transferring files at much greater speed than traditional file
transfer products via serial or parallel port. You get around 2 to 5 Mbps of
smooth file transfer rate. This application program, a Windows Program
Manager-like user interface, provides a very easy-to-use environment that
makes file transfer as easy as drag-and-drop.
------------------------------------
The Local machine window

The Local machine window represents the computer on which the application is
running. It provides an interface similar to that of the Windows Explorer
File Manager. The left side of the window shows the drive letters and folder
names, while the right side of the window shows the files inside the
selected folder.

The Remote machine window

The Remote machine window is similar to the Local machine window except that
it represents the other computer connected by the cable. The Remote machine
window will appear only if another computer (remote computer) is connected
by the same cable and also running the same application.

File Transfer between the Local and Remote computers

It's a simple task to copy files and folders between the two computers
connected by the cable.  Just use the Drag & Drop or the Copy & Paste
operations to transfer the selected files or folders from the Local machine
window to the Remote machine window or vice versa.
