First I am a newbie and know little of what I am trying to
do. Any help will certanly be appreciated.

I am trying to update a program I installed several weeks
ago, but the following error appears: "You do not have
write priveladges for the NULL directory. Please contact
our system administrator to change your permissions or if
you are the adminestrator please change your permissions
and then restart update."

I have no idea what this all means. Please reply to my
email address: Geraldban@aol.com

Thank you for your time and help

Gerald

You may want to list as many things about your PC and software programs or
no one may ever help you nor stop to ask you to list as much info as
possible.
