I was having a problem with my external device.  I am
using Windows ME.  I shutdown my computer, and now when
trying to reboot I get an error message that reads:
ERROR: 07: 0177: 844C6390.  I've tried starting in safe
mode and still get the same message.  I've tried the
Windows ME help disk, with such I've scan disk, scan disk
surface, scanreg/ restore, and I've tried rebooting
severl times by cutting the power when the error has came
up ( as suggested by the help disk. )  If anyone can,
please help.  Thank you

As you don't appear to give the exact, full error report, eg Fatal Exception
Error etc., you might wish to have a look at the following KB article for
ERROR: 07

"What Are Fatal Exception Errors"
