I am trying to install dsl on my pc. I have windows me
with lots of memory available. All the software is
installed all that i need to do is install the drivers for
the dsl. Everytime I try windows freezes/crashes when
installing new drivers. I've tried doing it under add new
hardware wizard but , it does the same thing. It finds the
drivers needed but crashes the instant I click to install
drivers. any suggestions would be great.....thanks

And the drivers you are trying to install are? Please provide ALL details
relating to your problem since this will help those who might want to try and
help you. Details required include how are you connecting to DSL, modem or
router, if modem what model and how connected - to a network card or USB, if
router how are you connecting to that router - wired or wireless.

Hi,
DSL generally comes into your comuter as ethernet, and
does not use "DSL" drivers.
Is the driver for a network card? It is changes to
network definations? Is the "driver" something that is
used by your ISP to log you on?
Generally you can call whoever you are buying DSL from
and have them walk you through the install for FREE.
