ethernet card

we installed a DLINK ethernet card in the machine however
the operating system (MIllennium) will not recognize it I
keep getting the error port not available it is in use by
the key board. How can I get around this ? HELP!!!!!!

You must install ME compatible drivers. Did you not get a floppy and/or CD
with the card?

yes I did and called dlink also but they were not able to
resolve the problem
