After I tried to install Cisco VPN software in Window Me
my computer went into Safe mode.   Under Device manager
there was a message stating Window Me was unable to
identify a real mode driver or memory resident program
loaded in your config.sys or Autoexec.bat file.  What
should I do.  Can someone give with some ideas.
Thanks

You should speak with Cisco about the requirements of their software,
esp. regarding any real mode drivers, since WinME does not support them:

Real Mode in WinME
