I installed an external UDB harddrive, but windows can't
see it. There is no assigned drive letter under My
Computer and Windows Explorer, although Bois sees it and
Device manager says the device is working properly. I can
also see the drive icon on the task bar.

Does anyone have any infomation about it. I am using
ASROCK mainboard and windows ME. I also tried on windows
98. It has the same problem.

Thanks for your help

I formated the drive and installed software. I also
downloaded the updated version of the software that came
with the drive, but nothing worked. Last night, I also
downloaded the latested USB driver from the Mainboard
manufacturer's site. It still doesn't work.
