Starting last night, as I boot up the computer, certain
files that are
listed in Msconfig Startup hang and refuse to load and I
have to CTL ALT DEL
and end task to get the process to continue.  These
usually include systray,
statemgr and vsmon.  I have scanned the disk, run spybot
and adaware, I have
latest mcaffee virus protection and firewall and I just
can't figure out
what caused this.  Files seem to be there in
Windows/System as they should
be. ????????

Might just work??

Try running System restore and roll-back to BEFORE 'last night'
