scanner port

no port available to plug in scanner.  Only 2 ports
available.  Mouse is plugged into one. Cable modem is
plugged into the other.  Where do I plug in my scanner?

That rather depends on what port the scanner needs.  Parallel, usb, usb2,
firewire or scsi.
