Installing Intellipoint 5.0 Software on Windows ME

When I tried to install Microsoft Wireless Optocal Mouse
with Intellipoint 5.0 software, I get a message that
Installation cannot start because the operating system
does not support this software. My question is, will
windows ME support Intellipoint 5.0 software? If so, what
do I need to do to get it to install? Thanks for the help.

You will need to try and use an earlier version of Intellipoint. Use of
v5 is not supported on Win 9x systems such as Win Me. Likewise the use of
the Wireless Optical Mouse is not supported on Win 9x systems.
