annoying activex warning

Using restricted sites to block ad-ware,and now I am getting a message in IE
taht tells me, current settings prohibit running activex controls, as a
result blah,blah, I know this I set them that way. Any way to disable this
notice??

Thank you, I was afraid of that. Is there an alternate way of doing this so
that all the ads and whatnot are not constantly annoying me??

There are various popup stoppers, but as far as I can see they all cause
other problems.
