My Windows ME cannot be connected to the Internet (SBCYahoo) because the
internet provider cannot find the modem. There was no problem until I moved
the computer to a different location. What could be wrong?

Since you say the problem started when you moved the PC I would start by
looking for a mechanical or physical problem. For example if an internal
modem was the card perhaps dislodged during moving? Open the case and
check that the card is properly seated in its socket. If an external
modem check that the cables are correctly inserted.

Moved to a new physical location...I would start by checking the wiring in
the walls, in addition to Mike M's suggestion. After a new installation last
year I had to rework the termination one run to get the connection working.
