Your question lacks sufficient detail... On the chance that you are using Yahoo! Mail Plus with a mail client, check that your client is not set to "Hang up after sending and receiving"; MS Outlook Express terminology, on the "Connection" tab, from Tools | Options. Other clients may use different terminology for the disconnect mode. The option is designed for dial-up users on metered accounts, which used to be more prevalent in the U.S., and are still common in other parts of the world.
