Having a problem with IE 5.5 usnder WINME. Is there a way to repair IE 5.5
(can't use it to access web pages) ?  IE doesn't show up under Add/Remove
Programs which I have seen on other machines.  System Restore doesn't work on
this machine either so that is not an option.

5.5 can be repaired, but without it showing up in add remove programs, I
can't say how. I would download 6.0 intstead or download 5.5 again here.

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. For Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 and earlier, in the Open box, type the
following command (the command is case sensitive), and then click OK:

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"

I suggest you use COPY & PASTE for the command mentioned above.
