I was given a laptop that runs win ME. It was originally set up on a dial up
connection, then a USB DSL connection, and now I am trying to go back to dial
up.  I use Earthlink and have contacted their support and no solution yet.

I can connect to the internet, but get  nothing through Internet Explorer or
Firefox.
I tried to update a version of quickbooks and an error saying DNS error pops
up.

I am wondering if there is a way to delete all previous connections and
included settings so I can start from scratch.  I have looked up any device
conflicts and there aren't any.  Please if anyone can help, I would
appreciate it.
