I have successfully configured a WG311T super G pci card on Windows Me. The
wireless connection is correctly configured and is connected. However, IE
does not use this connection at all. Is there something else I need to do?
What connection is the system using if you have more than one? If dial-up
use Internet Options | Connections and set to "never dial a connection" or
"dial whenever network connection is not present" with the first the
better option. This doesn't mean you can't use your dial-up connection,
just that you have to explicitly dial-up rather than the connection being
started when you open IE..

it's set to "never dial a connection" and there is an aol dial-up connection
defined. running ipconfig does not list my wireless connection. the netgear
wireless is listed in my networking settings.
