I had to replace my hard drive last week. Before it died,
I was able to back up most of my stuff. Gateway told me
to use OE back up to save my e-mail. It was all put on
disk as .dbx files. Now I try to import them back into OE
and the files can not be read.
Any one have an idea how to open the files?
Thanks,
Patrick
P.S. operating system is ME.

I created the back up, and moving the files into a
Folders.dbx folder did not help.
If you saved them to CD, then you need to copy them back to HD (outside your
OE store) and undo the read-only tag - then do the import. It should work
fine then
