Hello:

I entered a strange site today which automatically sent
several porn sites into my favorites section.  It then set
up a short-cut on my screan on its own.  It also changed
the homepage I was using.  Worst of all, it removed the
General tab from my Internet options.  How can I get it
back.  Please help.

Thank you,

Gary

If you have not already done so I would also recommend you download yourself
a
copy of the free
Ad-Aware 6.0 from Lavasoft
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)
and also SpyBot
(http://security.kolla.de/)

In both cases run their online update before running the program.

Gary,

For the fix to get your general tab back see my response
to Mike on the same issue that he posted on Aug. 27 at
7:11pm.

John
