Hi,
After doing a System restore on my PC, a complete reload,
I cannot browse on the internet. I can connect to my ISP,
or so it appears, (and sounds when I pick the phone up).
I have checked the DNS settings etc, but can go nowhere.
Is there something I am missing in the dialup, or
TCP/IP's?? I know how to set up dialup connections, and
did this one the same as the million others I have done
for people. In the network box, I have listed only
these...
Dial-Up Adapter, TCP/IP, and Microsoft Client.

The PC did come with a single jack modem/network card
combo. (At least that's what it appears to be)but I
couldn't get it to take the new drivers, so I put in a
new modem. And now I have this problem.
Help???  Thank YOU! Jake

Hi

I think we have a very similar problem (see my post
above) apart from mine is with an ADSL connection.  If
you have any luck solving the problem, please let me know.
Cheer
Stephen
