hi. I'm a newbie to MovieMaker. I must say that version 2 is really good.
But what's nagging me is that it automatically stretches my movies to his
resolution.

Example: I've tried to edit the video with resolution 110 x 350 and it
stretches these 110 to a lot...

is there any way to disable this feature and keep the original ratio?

You need to use a custom profile.... see the Saving Movies > Custom WMV
Profiles page of www.papajohn.org

And while at the website, note the name of the newsgroup devoted to Movie
Maker in XP. This newsgroup is for Movie Maker 1 on Windows Me.
