I just built a new computer P4-3 1G ram, 2 200 Gig HDs and a X600 ATI AIW
card. My problem is that when I now run windows MM2 it crashes at the end of
my capture. EVERY TIME!! I am capturing an analog source from a Hi8 Sony
Camcorder.
This never happened before with my old computer running every thing the same
except for the new X600 ATI card.  Could it be a software conflict?? I seem
to think so but I'm not sure. It's XP Home with the ATI software and
Pinnacle ver 9, MY DVD  that might just cause software conflicts...
thanks
J.\

Firstly you are in the MM1 newsgroup, there is one for MM2,
windowsxp.moviemaker
MM is designed mainly for digital video, so the change in hardware is more
than likely causing the problem, as there are very little anaolgue capture
devioces which work with MM. Can you use the app which came with the card?
