I am just trying to use WMM for the first time, and have hit an apparent
limitation.

I have a recorded movie which is just over two hours long and which I want
to edit.
The film was originally on a VHS tape and I transferred it to the PC an .AVI
file about 7 Gigabytes. I used AVI because WMM cannot seem to cope with
WMVs.

When I open WMM and import the movie all seems to go well but I only  get
128 very short clips of a few seconds each. If I change the import to turm
off clipping I get one big clip which covers the same amount of movie as the
128 separate clips, ie about 25 minutes worth.
Does anyone know how to overcome this limit ?

TIA

It's OK
My fault !
Saved film accidentally in too small a space - sheer coincidence that it
held 128 clips !
