I have never tried a movie before. I downloaded video files from RapidShare and joined them with HJ Split. I got a two-hour RealPlayer audio file but no picture. Moviemaker tells me "codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer." The audio codec is MPEG Layer-3 decoder but there is nothing for video codec. What do I do now? Thanks, Kay The biggest problem you have is that you ended up with a real player audio file, so somewhere you lost your video. Thanks, Kay You need to download a program which can convert an flv file to a file type compatible with Windows Movie Maker. I recommend using Pazera, because it's really easy. Super is very good and will convert .flv to wmv http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebPages/UsefulProgrammes.htm But, it may depend on where your flv came from. If off the net, then you may find that it isn't a straight forward flv file and may have some copy protection in it. Where did it come from?
