Thankyou Papajohn for getting me to reallign the resize for virtualdubmeg2.

I managed to convert to avi.

These conditions were for NTSC.

If I continue to create a DVD using these avi files, after editting  with
movie maker and using a DVD author, will I find it impossible to play the
result on British Pal TV?

All new british tv's and dvd players will play a PAL60, pseudo NTSC signal,
and have done so for a few years now, but older sets will still have
problems.

It's one of those suck it and see areas.

All pc's will play either ntsc or pal, so they could always do that if their
tv/dvd player won't work.
