My Notebook suddenly without sound. Plse help me. Hope
details below might help.

OS is MS Windows ME 4.90.3000, Sound System is ALS300+
Audio Device (WDM), Manufacturer: Avance Logic, Inc. &
Device Status says "This device is working properly".
Confirm no conflict.

Inside the Sound and Multimedia Properties, 'Show volume
control on the taskbar' is ticked but not active hence no
speaker icon being displayed on my taskbar.

Inside my WIN.INI file is stated as below:
[Sounds]
SystemDefault=,

Thanks in advance for your attention.

Hi ppl,

This problem solved. Culprit was my SYSTEM.INI file with
few vital settings missing (7 lines). Thanks to Bill Hyde
in helping me to the end.

Cheers,
GhantCD
