I only have one computer.  Everytime I start my computer a
network screen comes up with computer and workgroup on
it.  How do I disable this window, I just want to sign on
in Windows with a regular window asking for my userid and
password.  Help!

Go to Control Panel | Network and set the primary network logon to
Windows Logon.
