My dad (in Florida) is having problems with his Windows ME machine & I'm
trying to help him set up remote assistance so I can connect & help him (from
Utah),  but I can't find the exact procedure to send to him.   Can someone
give me the exact instructions or a link?  Thanks in advance.

Win Me has no "Remote Assistance" feature unlike XP.

As Mike has observed, WinMe has no Remote Desktop or Remote Assistance, but
RealVNC (http://www.realvnc.com/) will give you the ability to connect to
his desktop via the Internet.
