I received an error message (10038 Socket operation on non-socket) when trying to install a wireless network adapter (linksys wpc54g) on my gateway 5300 laptop. No MS knowledge base suggestions on a fix. Anyone have a suggestion on solutions? Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (unsuccessfully-same result).
