Is the Zyxel acting as a bridge, or as a router. Is the Windows XP
connected to the Zyxel? I don't have a complete picture of your connection.
I don't know which model of the Zyxel you have, so I can't figure out what
the problem might be. I can guess, but do you wish to proceed on possibly
incorrect guesses?

Thanks a lot for your reply, I've been trying out various
things, and have gotten the connection working with a
wire... Which is good, but ideal would be to connect
without the wire. :-)
I tried to include all the necessary information in my
original post, thanks for pointing out the missing bits -
here they are: The Zyxel is a P623-ME, which is plugged
into the "Internet" port of my router... Does that answer
the bridge/router question?
The curious thing is that everything works fine when I
plug in the network cable, it's only via wireless PCMCIA
card that the problem exists...
When I log onto windows ME, it asks me for a password, and
I have gotten into the habit of just hitting escape. Could
this be why the "Home Network" cannot access anything?
This feels like a really stupid question, but I must admit
I have been hitting escape for so long that I no longer
remember the password - when you aren't connecting to a
network, logging in doesn't bring you anything. I guess I
could create a new user and see if logging in properly
gets me anywhere?
I just added a NSLU2 to the network, but seeing as
the "Home Network" is not working, connecting to it is not
possible.
Needless to say, my girlfriend's Windows XP pc has all of
this working without any trouble... Should I just give in
and hand over the dosh for a new PC? I am reluctant,
seeing as my current PC meets my computational needs
perfectly...
Thanks a bunch for your time, it is much appreciated. If
you ever come to Geneva, beer's on me. :-)
