MY NETWORK CONTROL PANEL IS MISSING

i AM UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET DUE TO THE FACT THAT ONCE I
UNINSTALLED NORTON SOME HOW IT TOOK MY NETWORK CONTROL PANEL WITH IT I DON'T
HAVE A ME CD AND THERE IS NO RESTORATION SAVED TO RUN A RESTORE CAN SOMEONE
GET ME BACK ON THE NET SO I CAN DOWNLOAD SOME HOT FIXES ? WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

First is to turn off your Caps Lock - it makes things a bit easier to read

Second, although you don't have a WinMe CD, you *should* find a copy of the
complete set of installation files in either the Windows\Options\Install or
CABS folder. It's the folder with all the .cab files and the setup.exe file
in. You could burn the whole fodder to a CD

If you do find that you have no other option but to install/re-install WinMe
see :-

before you start.

Third, if/when you get your machine running again, don't install Norton.

hehe, well, thats all you can do about it, not install Norton. It's crap
to the roof ;-)!

Then, did you try to find your Network CP in the System CP?
