Use of ICS (internet connection sharing) is possible but entirely insane. What's the goal here, really? With unique accounts? The only solution (which is why I asked) to even begin to think of such a critter would be to - maybe - use a server and have them log on to a domain (Can you do that with ME??? Maybe... Don't remember honestly.) or to upgrade to an OS based on NT such as 2k or XP. NTFS formatting for the disks will go a long ways in helping. There is a lot of good information available around just for the searching.
