I'm having a problem trying to figure this out.  I have both of my computer
wired to my router and they both have internet access.  When I try to run
Network wizard on the XP, it asks for a drive that I don't have.  I only have
a CD/DVD burner.  Is there any other way to connect the two so I can have
file and printer sharing?  Thanks for all your help!

If you are connecting the two PCs via a router rather than by a direct
cable using Internet Connection Sharing then it should be quite
straightforward.
a) Let the router's DHCP server allocate the IP address for both PCs
b) Enable File & Printer Sharing on both PCs.
c) Ensure that both machines are in the same Workgroup (System Properties
| Computer Name | Change on XP and Control Panel | Network |
Identification in Win Me)
d) Share a folder (Right click Sharing and Security in XP, right click
Sharing in Win Me)
e) Ensure that you have both PCs in the trusted zone in any third party
firewall you may be using.
f) Test.

You don't have to run the Wizard on either computer -- you can make
their network settings manually, as Mike M. said.

If you want to run the Wizard on WinME, copy its executable file to a
CD, DVD, or USB flash drive on XP:

  C:\Windows\System32\Netsetup.exe
