Markvision utility shows error Markvis  MFC42.DLL  Has
anyone got an idea of what is wrong here?

Boot to Safe Mode and search your system for copies of the file mfc42.dll and
rename all of them to mfc42.old EXCEPT for the copy in the windows\system
folder.  Boot back into Normal Mode and se if this helps.  What I suspect has
happened is that you have an older version of mfc42.dll in one of your Program
Files folders and that this is being loaded instead of the copy in the
windows\system folder.
