I have a home network. My machine has Windows XP
Professional. My daughter is running Windows ME. I set
up my machine to sahe it's printer. I set up her machine
to use my printer over the network. Installed a local
print driver on her machine for the HP printer attached
to mine.
When she prints, we often get garbage printing out and
sometimes the printer stops and we need to reboot. I
decided after reading these newsgroups, that maybe I
needed to install the latest printer driver for ME in the
properties for the printer attached to my PC. When I try
to install the printer driver, it can not find it on the
XP Professional CD. Does anyone know where this diver is
located? Thanks!

You will have to download the drivers for WindowsMe, extract them into a
temporary file and when XP asks for the location, point it at that file.
